The Choir Committee

Chair

 Kay Marriott

Kay has sung with the choir for three years but has long experience of choral societies and their management and is looking forward to working with the committee.

Secretary

  Interregnum

Treasurer

 David Hughes

David brings experience in project management and business to the role of Treasurer. He is a member of the Tenor section and handy with tools when the staging needs attention.

Librarian

Mark Harrison

It is Mark's job to source and hire music for choir members and to buy it in when enough members wish to purchase their own copy.

He is also a talented musician and composer and the choir has sung some of his music and Christmas works.

Membership Secretary

Marian Gennever

Marian keeps the membership records and ensures that we have contact details, subs and Gift Aid declarations, where appropriate, from everyone.  You will usually be greeted at the rehearsal signing-in desk by Marian and she will help new members to settle in.

Publicity and Website

Merrin Froggett

Merrin looks after publicity for the choir and the website. Having joined the choir as an alto in 2017 she moved into the tenor section when it needed extra voices and thinks that tenors have much more fun (and tunes) than altos.

Tickets and Programmes

Kay Marriott

Kay manages the tickets for concerts and also prepares the concert programmes. Really an alto voice, Kay bolsters our tenor section when it needs extra voices.

Alto Rep and Social Media

Judy Weeks

Judy is the driver of the choir's social events and coffee mornings and has gained the society many friends and followers through her regular Facebook postings. Judy sings in the soprano section.

Committee Member

 Steph Cook

Steph has been singing all her life in one way or another, including jazz, but only came to choral singing five years ago so that every work we do is new to her. When not singing Steph likes to dance.
